Quotes

A job needs a quote when the engineer’s report says the work isn’t covered — a part, a replacement, work outside the original call-out. The job lands in Actions required with a Build quote button.

Building a quote

Section titled “Building a quote”

  1. Press Build quote.

  2. Add lines: a description, a quantity, a unit price. Parts and labour are separate lines.

  3. Set the mark-up if your company applies one. The total updates as you go.

  4. Submit to PlusHeat.

The job moves to With PlusHeat. PlusHeat presents the quote to the customer and handles the approval.

When the customer answers

  • Approved — the job comes back to Actions required as Quote approved, with a Book in button. Book the visit, assign the engineer, done.
  • Declined — the job closes. You’ll see it in Books with the report and the declined quote.

Editing a quote

A submitted quote can’t be edited — PlusHeat has already shown it to the customer. If something’s wrong, contact support@plusheat.co.uk with the job number and they’ll withdraw it so you can submit again.
